Urban Egg Opens First Texas Location

Urban Egg Debuts in Texas with Fort Worth Café and Vintage Trailer Bar

Beloved Colorado breakfast and brunch spot Urban Egg has made its Texas debut, opening a brand-new location in Fort Worth’s Alliance area—the brand’s 10th restaurant and first outside of Colorado and Kansas.

The new café seats 126 guests indoors and features a sunny outdoor patio with 44 additional seats, plus a unique highlight: a vintage horse trailer once owned by Willie Nelson, now transformed into the charming “Ol' Willie T Bar.”

Bringing Local Flavor to Texas Mornings

Open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and until 2:30 p.m. on weekends, Urban Egg offers fresh, locally inspired twists on breakfast and brunch favorites. Diners can expect an elevated menu of Egg Benedicts, house-made pancakes, hearty sandwiches, salads, and health-forward options.

The beverage menu showcases artisan coffee from DFW’s Eiland Coffee Roasters, natural juice blends, and refreshing mimosas made with La Bella Prosecco. The kitchen and full-service bar operate in an open-concept dining space, creating a casual, inviting vibe perfect for brunch lovers.

Rooted in Texas, Built for Community

Founded in Colorado Springs, Urban Egg already operates in Denver, Fort Collins, Johnstown, and Colorado Springs, as well as Overland Park, Kansas. With more growth on the horizon—including new locations in downtown Denver and Kansas City by 2026—the brand has its sights set on six new restaurants across Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and Texas next year.

“Opening Urban Egg Fort Worth Alliance feels like coming home,” said Randy Price, founder and fifth-generation Texan. “We’re thrilled to bring our authentic hospitality to this vibrant community and a state that means so much to my family.”

Urban Egg’s commitment to local sourcing includes partnerships with Texas favorites like Nature Nate’s Honey Co., Signature Baking Co., Texas Heartland Hot Sauce, and La Nortena Tortillas—furthering their mission to build community through great food and meaningful connection.
